Series Scope and Contents
This series is composed of reports, periodicals, pamphlets, press clippings, correspondence, maps, and other material pertaining to the political relationship between the United States and the Republic of Panama, as well as exclusively United States political and cultural topics. Subjects include the United States-Panama treaty of 1977, disbutes regarding the pending transfer of the Panama Canal to Panamanian control, and political events involving leaders of the two countries. Material in the series is governmental, journalistic, and editorial in nature.
