The collection consists mainly of catchpenny prints and engravings related to famous travel and imaginary voyage novels popular in the 19th century, including Robinson Crusoe, Gulliver's Travels, and Baron Munchausen's Narrative of his Marvellous Travels. The prints mostly have Dutch captions, with some prints having additional captions in German, French, and English.
