This series contains birthday cards, photographs and other material pertaining to Kanitz' personal life. Includes multiple biographical sketches, some written by Kanitz, such as curriculum vitae, and others written by his students and admirers, such as Steve Shapero's Ernest Kanitz: The Life of a Modern Composer. Also included are personal mailing lists and flight itineraries from Kanitz Philadelphia trip in 1967.
