This sub-series consists of materials related to efforts concerning California's Congressional Delegation, made up of all Senators and Members of Congress from the state. Brown served as Dean of the delegation from 1995-1999, and was involved in efforts to instill greater bipartisanship within the delegation. Materials in the sub-series include research, correspondence, membership information, notes, planning documents and agendas. This sub-series also contains files from the Bipartisan Task Force on Defense Reinvestment and Economic Development, which was created in 1993 to maximize federal defense conversion funding for California and assist affected communities with military base closures and conversions.
