This sub-series consists of files related to railroad companies and proposed rail developments, including Metrorail projects and AMTRAK facilities. Also included are correspondence, memorandums, reports, and public meeting notes documenting the San Bernardino Train Disaster and Pipeline Failure, which was a local incident involving a train that derailed and crashed in San Bernardino in May of 1989, damaging a pipeline and subsequently causing a major fire.
