Sub-Series Scope and Contents
This sub-series consists of materials documenting efforts undertaken by Congressman Brown and his staff to plan his legislative agenda for upcoming Congresses. This includes files on staff meetings and broad legislative planning, through both staff specific plans for what each staffer planned on accomplishing each year, and issue specific plans for how staff planned to address a particular issue. Also included are files on Brown's advisory committees, which were comprised of constituents from various interest groups assembled by Brown's staff to assist him in legislative planning and votes. Materials in the sub-series include correspondence, memorandums, meeting agendas, reports, notes, and membership lists.
