Sub-Series Scope and Contents
The sub-series contains letters and other items exchanged between Brown’s office and constituents from his district. The majority of constituent letters written to George Brown relate to specific legislation and issues, or inquire about services offered by Brown's office. In cases where constituents maintained a regular correspondence with George Brown’s office, letters were filed separately as individual files. The sub-series also includes form letter responses, which were standardized letters sent out to constituents inquiring about frequently addressed topics.
