This sub-series consists of materials mailed to constituents within Brown’s district, including newsletters, questionnaires, and year-end letters. Newsletters usually provided general updates on Brown's work, but sometimes focused on specific topics like the environment, education, peace efforts, safety, and science, or targeted specific groups of people such as seniors, veterans, and women. Year-end letters updated constituents on Brown's annual accomplishments, and questionnaires were sent out to constituents to gauge their positions on various issues. Also included in the sub-series are published materials sent out by Brown's office, including calendars, guides, and directories, most notably a guide of solar energy programs at California universities.
