Series 7. Photographs, 1917-1999, bulk: 1963-1999
Series Scope and Contents
This series contains photographs documenting Brown's career and personal life, including portraits of Brown, photographs of Brown with constituents, government officials and others, photographs from events, trips and campaigns, staff photographs and personal and family photographs. The majority of photographs consist of black and white gelatin silver prints, with a small number of photographs printed in color. Negatives, when present, are placed with the corresponding photographic print. The series also includes 577 color slides.
