This series is comprised of media clippings (1960-1987, undated) that document local news coverage of the Stringfellow Hazardous Waste Site, including the site cleanup process, political activism of the Glen Avon community, and local, state, and federal legislation affecting the area. Material on the general topics of ecology and pollution are also included. Clippings are primarily from Riverside County and Los Angeles County newspapers, with some material excerpted from other sources.
