Series Arrangement

The art has been organized into three sub-series: art by Sadakichi, art by others, and a loose inventory of framed art (which is both by Hartmann and others).

Fragile Materials - Handle with Care

Many of the pieces of art by in this collection are done in pastel, oil pastel, and/or charcoal. These mediums are fragile and easily damaged. A number of framed pieces are in frames that are old, fragile, or damaged. All items need to be handled with care to protect against damaging the surface of the paintings.
