Collection Scope and Contents
The Maud H. Miller papers is a collection of personal documents, including Miller's correspondence with multiple politicians on issues important to her. This notably includes continued correspondence concerning agricultural policy and other issues with George N. Peek, the first Administrator of the Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA) under Franklin D. Roosevelt, and George P. Clements, head of agriculture for the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. The collection also includes editorials and autobiographical stories written by Miller, family photographs, and some personal correspondence.
