The collection consists of materials documenting the professional, political, and social life of Tuskegee Airman Charles W. Ledbetter. Materials in the collection include photographs, news clippings, original writings, military patches, Tuskegee Airman toys and replicas, and various awards. The collection also contains Ledbetter's aircraft mechanic uniform, and two Taekwondo uniforms used by Ledbetter.

Abstract
The collection consists of materials documenting the professional, political, and social life of Tuskegee Airman Charles W. Ledbetter, who later served in the Inland Empire as a journalist for the Black Voice News and was involved in local politics. Materials in the collection include photographs, news clippings, original writings, military patches, Tuskegee Airman toys and replicas, and various awards. The collection also contains Ledbetter's aircraft mechanic uniform, as well as two Taekwondo uniforms used by Ledbetter.
