Biographical Note
John Jennings is a professor of Media and Cultural Studies at UC Riverside. He is also a comics illustrator and the founder and curator of the ABRAMS Megascope imprint of graphic novels. He received a BA from Jackson State University in 1993, a Master of Arts in Art Education from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1995 as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, also from UI, in 1997.
Professor Jennings won Eisner awards in 2016 and 2018 as well as a Bram Stoker award in 2017.
