This sub-series contains correspondence, reports, and other material regarding the reserves of the UC Natural Reserve System that are managed by UCR including the Box Springs Reserve, Boyd Deep Canyon Desert Research Center, Emerson Oaks Reserve, Motte Rimrock Reserve, James San Jacinto Mountains Reserve, Etiwanda Wash Reserve (property sold), and Sweeney Granite Mountains Desert Research Center. Material regarding the Oasis de los Osos Reserve (satellite of the James San Jacinto Mountains Reserve) is also included in this series as is material collected by former directors of the James San Jacinto Mountains Reserve regarding the UC Natural Reserve System and related topics.
