Series Scope and Contents
This series is comprised of academic term papers, class notes, examinations, syllabi, transcripts, and other material primarily dating from Sylvia M. Broadbent's graduate career at UC Berkeley (1952-1960). She completed courses in anthropology, linguistics, and sociology; course titles and professors are specified when known. Select records pertain to her undergraduate career at Berkeley (1948-1952), as well as her tenure at Carmel High School (1947-1948). Transcripts and other school records pertaining to Broadbent's primary and secondary education are also included.
