Series Scope and Contents
The series covers Loda Mae Davis's personal and professional materials. Specifically there are her published work and magazine edits, correspondence with her family and fellow scholars. In 1960, Loda Mae Davis went to Samoa on sabbatical to study nutrition and living conditions. Her field notes and letters to others during this time is included. This series also discusses Loda Mae Davis's time at the University of California, Riverside as a professor and advocate for women's rights within the university.
