Series Scope and Content
This series includes documents related to the dedication of the University of California, Riverside's College of Letters and Science in 1954. It includes official congratulatory letters sent by other colleges and universities as well as the transcripts for various addresses given at the dedication ceremony. Addresses were given by Charles Young, then President of the Associated Students of UCR; Deane W. Malott, President of Cornell University; President of UCR, Robert Gordon Sproul; Governor Goodwin J. Knight; and Edward A. Dickson, Chairman of the Board of Regents.
