Sub-Series Scope and Contents
This sub-series contains documents related to activities outside the scope of the daily operations of the Radiocarbon Lab. Materials in this sub-series include grants written or applied for by Erv Taylor; information related to Hiprotect, a security system designed to protect cultural or environmental elements in remote areas that was developed by the Preservation Science and Technology Unit at UCR and the Applied Technology Program at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory; and information about the Western Center for Archaeology and Paleontology, a museum, research and education center located in Hemet, CA. Additional materials related to Hiprotect can be found in Accrual 1, sub-series 2.
