Collection Scope and Contents
This collection consists of correspondence, board meeting and conference minutes, publicity materials, and budget and funding proposals for the English Short Title Catalog, a database for bibliographic record of surviving copies of letterpress produced in Great Britain from 1473-1800. The ESTC is a joint project of the British Library and the Center for Bibliographic Studies and Research.

Abstract
This collection consists of correspondence, board meeting and conference minutes, publicity materials, and budget and funding proposals for the English Short Title Catalog, a database for bibliographic record of surviving copies of letterpress produced in Great Britain from 1473-1800. The ESTC is a project created in collaboration of the British Library with the Center for Bibliographic Studies and Research to increase access to these items worldwide. The CBSR is a center created to institutionalize and enhance programs related to bibliography and the history of the book.
