Collection Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection consists of records created by the Kappa Theta chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., which was the first Greek-lettered sorority established by African-American college women. The Kappa Theta chapter was chartered on the University of California, Riverside’s campus on March 27th, 1976.
