The collection consists of correspondence, speeches, essays, articles, reports, printed matter, clippings, photographs, maps, artwork, etc. Compiled chiefly by Wally Anker, President of the Clavey River Preservation Coalition, as a result of the Coalition's and others' opposition to the Clavey River Project, a dam and hydroelectric power plant to be built on the Clavey River in Tuolumne County, California by the Turlock Irrigation District.
