Brought before the Mono County Superior Courtby the MLC in 1986 on the same grounds as the Rush Creek Lawsuit. The court granted a temporary restraining order that required LADWP to release a flow of up to 10 cfs into Lee Vining Creek. In 1987, the court issued a preliminary injunction that required LADWP to continue to release a flow of 4-5 cfs into Rush Creek to protect public trust resources.
