Scope and Contents
Abstract: To determine the general conditions of vegetation in pre-grazing days in the Southwest and what changes, if any, have occurred in the last 50 years, the author has inspected and analyzed the original journals of early explorers and travelers and compared early photographs (1895-1903) with more recent ones taken from the same spot.
