Biographical Note

Frank L. Lathrop was born on April 3, 1882. He was a licensed real estate broker and a "specialist in fact finding." He resided in Yreka, California, and took interest in public lands and water-supply.

The collection consists of correspondence, news clippings, manuscripts, and reports related primarily to the development and usage of the Klamath River Basin in the mid-20th century, created and compiled by consultant Frank L. Lathrop.

Collection Arrangement

The collection is arranged into two series as follows:

  1. Series 1. Correspondence, 1945-1961
  2. Series 2. Reports and Related Materials, 1939-1962
