Dividing the Waters collection
A collection of legal and otherwise relevant materials related to western water adjudications and other complex water litigation. The project has focused on case management, alternative dispute resolution, and the sharing of practical experience by a diverse group of judges, masters and referees who have participated in Dividing the Waters activities.
Jon Else collection on Cadillac Desert
The collection consists of video tapes, audio recordings, and log sheets related to the production of the 1997 television documentary series "Cadillac Desert," which focused on the transformation of the landscape of the American Southwest in the 20th century as a result of water use and development.
Wells A. Hutchins papers
The collection consists of correspondence, writings, speeches, and report materials. Hutchins served for 62 years in various bureaus and offices of the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture; his major work dealt with water laws and water rights in the Western States. He also lectured on water law and institutions at the University of California.
