The collection consists of materials from speculative author Pepe Rojo, mostly related to his work on "You can see the future from here," which was a series of science fiction based interventions carried out at the San Ysidro Border Crossing in Mexico in 2011.

The collection consists of the papers of Rudy Rucker, a mathematician and computer scientist who also authored numerous works of science fiction and was known as one of the founders of the cyberpunk science fiction movement. Materials in the collection relate mostly to Rucker's literary career, and include drafts of Rucker's fiction and nonfiction works, notebooks, artwork, publications, and journals.

The collection consists of items related to the writings and career of American author Lewis Shiner, a fiction writer known especially for his work in the science fiction and cyberpunk genres. Materials in the collection contain manuscripts, story drafts, correspondence, artwork, and notebooks produced during the creation of Shiner's novels, short stories, and comic books, including both published and unpublished works.

The John Shirley papers consist of material related to Shirley's 1989 collection of short stories, Heatseeker, and includes galley proofs and annotated typescripts. Also included is the original introduction to the work written and printed out by author William Gibson.
