Abstract

This collection consists of records created by the Eta Nu Omega chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., which was the first Greek-lettered sorority established by African-American college women. The Eta Nu Omega chapter covers both Riverside and San Bernardino counties, and materials in the collection cover the chapter's activities from around 1980-2011. Items in the collection include scrapbooks, news clippings, photographs, event programs, directories, and alumni information.

Abstract

This collection consists of records created by the Kappa Theta chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., which was the first Greek-lettered sorority established by African-American college women. The Kappa Theta chapter was chartered on the University of California, Riverside’s campus on March 27th, 1976. Materials in the collection include a copy of the charter establishing the chapter, and a photograph album of sorority events occurring in 2014.
