This collection contains manuscripts, published and unpublished works, poetry, and short stories written by the science fiction author Stanley G. Weinbaum before his death in 1935. Also included in the collection is correspondence compiled by Weinbaum's widow Margaret Hawtof Kay from the late 1990s and early 2000s regarding the disposition of Weinbaum's estate and the management of his literary works.

The collection consists of personal and professional materials related to detective fiction author Robert Reeves. Items in the collection include various typescripts and drafts of both published and unpublished works, different translations and editions of Reeves' novels, and copies of the pulp Black Mask containing works by Reeves. The collection also contains some personal materials from Reeves, including a journal, photographs, and materials related to his military service and death.
