Correspondence includes a copy of Sargent's potential Hugo acceptance speech from 1993. Sargent could not make the award ceremony and had arranged to have Klein read this statement in the event of her winning the award. This document was found in an unopened envelope during processing. UCR SCUA staff contacted Pamela Sargent and received permission to open the envelope.

Topics in this correspondence include holiday cards, the Hugo's, Isaac Asimov's death, and 9/11.
