This sub-series is comprised of examinations, notes, syllabi, and other material dating from Sylvia M. Broadbent's early teaching career at Northwestern University, Barnard College at Columbia University, and the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia (1961-1966). Records primarily document lecture topics and assignments included in Anthropology courses taught by Broadbent at these institutions. Syllabi developed by other professors, which served as references for Broadbent's own teaching, are also included.
