Series Scope and Contents

The series contains papers written by Bradford during his career at UC Riverside, as well as documents related to his work. Subjects covered in the series include the effects of copper, lithium, boron, and other treatments on citrus plants; greenhouse plant growing; partnership projects with Southern California Edison including acid deposition in High Sierra Lakes and fly ash effects on soil around the Mojave Generating Station, silver accumulation in the environment of ground-based silver iodide generators in the Sierras and trace and major elements in High Sierra Lakes; spectroscopy and sample preparation for spectroscopy; trace elements in the San Joaquin Valley Evaporation Ponds; characteristics of and disposal and reuse of waste water, sewage sludge and garbage; and UCR related documents.
