The collection consists of 16 photographs taken by well known circus photographer Harry A. Atwell, depicting indigenous performers from the Miller Brothers 101 Ranch Wild West Show in the late 1920s. Photographs in the collection include portraits of performers backstage, as well as action shots of stunt riding during performances.

The collection consists of 38 silver gelatin prints taken by photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson in the mid-twentieth century while on news assignment. Photographs in the collection depict various people and street scenes, and were taken in India, China, Hong Kong, France, and the Soviet Union.

The collection consists of items from former UC Riverside Emeritus Professor of Biology Kenneth W. Cooper. Items in the collection include family photographs and genealogical information, as well as academic articles written by Cooper's wife Ruth and his brother G. Arthur. Also included in the collection are correspondence and photographs related to Cooper's academic mentor Franz Schrader, and his wife Sally Hughes-Schrader.

The collection consists of approximately 200 black and white photographs of various cities, buildings, historic sites, people, events, and places in Mexico taken by photographer C.B. (Charles Betts) Waite in the early 20th century.

The collection consists of materials collected by publisher and founder of Lord John Press Herb Yellin related to science fiction author Ray Bradbury. Materials in the collection include letters from Bradbury to Yellin, photographs of Bradbury and his family given to Yellin, and photographs of Bradbury, Yellin, and others at various dinners and events.
